The MaidPro Story

MaidPro's origin story traces back to a moment when founder Mark Kushinsky sought the services of a Boston maid service for his home. To his surprise, the prices were exorbitant. Eager to reclaim some free time, he hired a company anyway but was disappointed with the results.

Unsatisfied, Mark tried a more expensive cleaning company, only to find that they not only did a poor job but also left his cat, Foof, locked in the bathroom without a litter box. Sharing his experiences with his friend Richard Sparacio led to the birth of MaidPro.

Established in 1992 in a 200-square-foot office in Boston's historic Beacon Hill, MaidPro has rapidly expanded to over 250 locations across the U.S. and Canada. We take pride in serving thousands of loyal customers who entrust us to clean their homes, all while ensuring cats always have access to their litter boxes.
